PREP ROUNDUP — Hat trick leads Chix to soccer victory

Kevin McConnell scored three goals to lead the Zeeland East boys soccer team to a 4-1 win over visiting Wayland Monday in nonconference play.
Andrew DeWitt totaled three assists for the Chix, while Jake Kamstra added a goal.

Hamilton 244, Coopersville 269: Anna Urban carded a 57 at Diamond Springs to lead the Hawkeyes to a nonleague win. Hamilton also received scores from Kelsey Raab (59), Katelyn Darling (64) and Katie Bosch (64).
