Angeline Swierenga, 84

Angeline “Ang” Swierenga, nee TerMaat of Zeeland, MI, formerly of Elmhurst and Cicero, Ill. Beloved wife of the late Ralph, Sr.; loving mother of Linda (Don) LeMahieu, Jan (Paul) Evenhouse, Jack (Cassie), Jim (Linda) and the late Ralph Jr. “Butch” (Ginger) Swierenga; devoted grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of five; fond sister of Pearl (Rudy) Beukinga, Bea (Irv) Grysen and the late Sandra (Marty (Carol)) Binnendyk.

A member of Elmhurst CRC for 38 years, Ang was active as a pianist, organist, and member of the choir and handbell choir. “Her children arise and call her blessed”, Prv. 31:28. Visitation Wednesday, 2-9 p.m. at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd., (3 blks. S. of Roosevelt Rd.), Lombard. In state at the Lombard Christian Reformed Church, 2020 S. Meyers Rd. on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Interment Forest Home Cemetery. Memorials to Christian Reformed World Relief Committee are appreciated.
