Wynard Kloosterman, 83, of Zeeland, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009, at Hospice House.
Wynard was born November 1, 1925 in Zeeland Township to Henry and Alice Kloosterman. Mr. Kloosterman served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of North Street Christian Reformed Church in Zeeland. In 1991, his wife, Alice, preceded him in death. Wynard later married Nora De Kleine who preceded him in death in 2007.
He is survived by Henry and Diane Kloosterman, Dave and Nancy Harkema, Tom and Tina Eastman, and his grandchildren. The Kloosterman family is deeply grateful to Duane and Harriet Ten Broeke and Fran Jeurink for their friendship and faithful companionship bestowed upon Wynard.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland. The Rev. John Klompien will officiate. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House. www.yntemafh.com
