Lois Lamer, age 85, of Zeeland, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at the Providence Health Care in Zeeland.
Lois was a charter member of Faith Reformed Church. She worked for Bennett Woods and was a real estate broker for Four Worlds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertus in 2007.
She is survived by her children, David and Jan Lamer of Zeeland; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, James and Geneva Essenburg of Holland; sisters-in-law, Laura Essenburg of Holland, Harriet Tummel of Holland, Reka Lamer of Zeeland; several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2009 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street in Holland. Reverend David Smits will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to the service at Lakeshore Memorial Services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland. An on-line registry book is available at www.lakeshorememorial.com.
