Every Monday afternoon/ evening, from the beginning of May until the end of October, The Chick-Owa Sportsman's Club holds Open Rifle/ Pistol Ranges for the public and its members. There are Range Safety Officers on duty to give you a hand and ensure everyone's safety.

Whether you just enjoy the Shooting Sports or you would like to tune your skills for the Small Game Hunting Season, which began on the 15th of September, Trap Shooting is great way to do it.

Staff at Roosevelt Elementary and Creekside Middle Schools are organizing a benefit pancake supper for the Jeff Elenbaas family on Thursday, October 30, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., at Roosevelt Elementary. The money raised will help pay for remodeling of the Elenbaas home to make it barrier free. Jeff fell from a tree stand on October 2 at a hunting site in rural Illinois. As a result of the fall, Jeff is paralyzed.

Leaves are falling and a chill is in the air.  Autumn must be here!  Bring your entire family to this month's creation station and enjoy and hour's worth of fall crafts.  All materials will be available, and you may come and go as you please.  Remember that little ones will need the assistance of an adult.

This informal concert will feature original dances created by Zeeland East and West High School students as part of their class choreography projects. Tickets are $5 at the door and seating is general admission. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, October 23, in DeWitt Auditorium. There will be a special guest performance by the Hope College Hip Hop club under the direction of Jessica Jeffrey.  You won't want to miss this special event.
