The Chick-Owa Outdoor Celebration satisfied its participants.

   Many who attended came out for the shooting activities. Participants were able to shoot many different firearms including Rifles, Pistols, Shotguns, and Black Powder. Because there was so much interest in the shooting activities, many missed out on the workshops on Duck and Goose Hunting and Trapping. There is a Bowling Pin Shoot at 5:00pm at The Chick-Owa Sportsman's Club this Wednesday the 13th and the Outdoor Family Celebration this Saturday.

The Outdoor Family Celebration kicks off at 1:00pm and goes until 9:00pm in the evening. There will be all kinds of fun activities for all ages including shooting games (bring your guns along), A Falconry Presentation by Falconshire Raptors, a Pig Roast, and Five Stand (Sporting Clays from a Trap Line - Don't forget your shotgun)

With the Outdoor Family Celebration happening in less than two weeks, make sure that you get out and pick up your tickets this week. There will be tickets at Borculo Bait & Tackle, Gold Coast Outfitters, and American Tackle Outfitters unti Monday, August 11.
