Harv and Sherri DeRoo of Zeeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Lynn DeRoo, to David James Flamboe, the son of the late Donald Flamboe Jr., and Martin and Cindy Dyke of West Olive.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Zeeland High School and Grand Valley State University. She is employed by Fennville Public Schools. The groom-elect graduated from West Ottawa High School and is employed by Tiara Yachts.
An August 8, 2009, wedding is planned.
