Christa Walters and Aaron Steenwyk were married on September 12, 2009, at Pillar Church. Pastor Keith Doornbos officiated the ceremony and music was by Katha Petroelje.
Parents of the couple are John and Diane Walters of Zeeland, and James and Nancy Steenwyk of Zeeland.
The maid and matron of honor were Karin Walters and Jill Walters-Klamer. The bridesmaids were Amanda Haan, Elizabeth Gradman and Katie Stewart. Brian Steenwyk and Andrew Steenwyk were the best men, and groomsmen were Jared Sluiter, Ryan Hop and Brandon Tubergen. The ushers were Matt Buursma, Steve Hilton, Justin Johnson and Matt Koster. Regan and Reese Steenwyk were the flower girls. Kim Steenwyk was the personal attendant.
A reception followed at Midtown Center with Leslie Hill, Sara VanDenBerg and Sarah Van Dyke as attendants. The couple honeymooned in Mexico.
The bride is employed at Walters Gardens and the groom is employed at Macatawa Bank. The couple resides in Zeeland.
